It's All Happening!

Hey y'all! I figured it was time for a personal post so I can say hello and give you a few updates! Ignite is in the hands of my fantastic editor, Mickey, who many of you probably know from her blog, I'm a Book Shark http://www.imabookshark.com/p/freelan....

And feel free to laugh at me because it just clicked in my head that she's a book shark and an editor. The correlation never crossed my mind. I'm a blonde, what can I say?

So let me introduce myself. I'm a twenty six year old book junkie who is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are my teams! I work for the government during the day, hang out with Air National Guard on the weekends, and am married to a guy 15 inches taller than me. We're quite the pair!

I've been reading since I was a kid. My mom was a librarian, so it was a given. Heck, she even made sure we watched Wishbone instead of the Smurfs. Two years ago when I graduated from college, my mom bought me a Nook, and then last summer I found this amazing site. I was introduced to so many amazing indie/self-published authors. After reading almost 400 books last year, my husband gave me the push to finally sit down and write my own. It was a rocky start, but over time the words started flowing and I couldn't get Jace and Lexi out of my head. I'm so excited for you all to meet them!

As early ARC reviews are starting to roll in, this whole thing is becoming more and more real. You can check out ARC reviews here Goodreads.  I'm so thankful for all of you who have added it to your TBRs, recommended it to friends, tweeted about it, and/or liked it on Facebook. Going from blogger to author has been an amazing, nerve wracking, all around crazy experience, and I couldn't do it without every single one of you, so I'm forever grateful. If I could give all of you giant hugs, I totally would. For now, I'll just give you some JT.

News: Ignite will be released on October 30. It'll be $.99 on release day only, so make sure to be on the lookout for it to go live. After that it'll go up to $2.99.

There will be at least two more books with spin off characters, as well as a novella for two side characters that you'll meet in Ignite. I've already started working on book 2, Incinerate, and my fingers are crossed to have it out early 2014.

I'm hoping to have to have all three books finished by May 2014. My first book signing will be at the Cincy Author Event in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you're in the area, or want to make the drive, register here:

That's all for now. 23 more days until the release... let's hope I still have fingernails by then! :) a Rafflecopter giveaway
